COURSE & CATEGORIES
The Mud Run is a challenging 5K run with hills, obstacles, 4-foot walls with mud, tunnel crawls, slippery hill climbs, and oodles of mud pits. View the course map here. Race individually, within multiple age divisions, or as a member of a 4-person team.
RULES & START TIME
10:00am Start. The course and all obstacles must be successfully completed to qualify for prizes. Teams are 4 participants. All team members must cross the finish line together for the team to qualify for prizes. Sorry, there are no race refunds and race numbers are non-transferable – only you can wear your race number. There is no race day registration. Sorry, no dogs, baby strollers or baby joggers on the course. However, all are allowed at the race site. No drugs or alcohol allowed at event. Anyone found under the influence will not be allowed to participate and will forfeit all race fees.
REGISTRATION
All team members must register together. Sorry there are no refunds, and the race numbers are non-transferable. REGISTER EARLY – This race will sell out!
AWARDS & FESTIVITIES
Awards given to the top competitors. Each participant will receive a mudders commemorative t-shirt. Music, plenty of food, and drinks will be available at the festival. Open showers and closed changing tents to get clean will be available at the festival.
DIRECTIONS, PARKING & SHUTTLES
The San Diego Mud Run is located on the grounds of Skyline Church in the Rancho San Diego area of East County at Hwy 94 and Jamacha Blvd. 11330 Campo Rd. – La Mesa, California 91941
Parking will be at Cuyamaca College (www.cuyamaca.edu) apprx. 1 mile east of race location You will then be shuttled to the race location. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ARRIVE AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE NO LATER THAN 10AM. RACE EVENT PARKING SIGNS WILL HELP GUIDE YOU!
TIPS & SAFETY
Wear your grungy clothes and old sneakers, because more than likely they won’t be going home with you.
There will be a rinse off area and changing tents for participants.
Bring a big trash bag, dry clothes and a towel
Leave your jewelry at home
Drink fluids before, during, and after your race
Do not dive head first into the mud pit
This is a fun run so help your neighbor if he or she needs help
There will be medical staff along the course and finish line
We are not responsible for your personal gear
Do not let your children go in the mud unattended
Wear a cool costume!
